THE ADVANTAGE OF WORKING WITH GAUER

  • Gauer’s Flo-Rak line of products has the most extensive variety of carton flow rack options available. Gauer can design a new system or just as easily retrofit an existing warehouse, even if it contains carton flow shelving from another manufacturer. In the past, Gauer has manufactured for many of the domestic carton flow manufacturers under their brands, and has years of experience working with others’ products. Gauer also has a huge advantage in price because Gauer manufactures everything in house, right down to molding the plastic rollers.
  • Gauer has thrived in the industries it has served for the last 70 years because they stand behind their products and make sure that their customers are completely satisfied. Quality manufactured products and innovative designs has made the Gauer name synonymous with excellence in metal fabrication. The only question one would need to ask is “What can Gauer do for me?”

WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE GAUER’S FLO-RAK PRODUCTS?

  • Gauer’s Flo-Rak products offer many advantages to traditional static shelving. First being the use of FIFO (first-in first-out) storage systems, this allows the oldest products to be used first which keeps your inventory stocked with fresh new products. You will also see a dramatic increase in productivity from the SKU’s (Stock Keeping Units) being in an ergonomic position for the order picker to take. While further efficiency will be noticed from the tremendous increase of SKU locations in each bay, allowing for less time spent traveling thus a higher number of picks per hour.
  • In a properly designed carton flow rack system, there can also be huge space saving results over traditional static rack storage. With the continually increasing property and construction costs, who could turn down and additional 40% (or more) of storage space? Finally, with picking and placing of products happening in separate isles, both processes can be completed simultaneously without one worker causing an obstruction for another. With space saving, productivity, increased SKU’s, immediate savings in labor costs and profiling advantages we cannot find and reason that carton flow systems should not be adopted in every warehouse.
